Sustainability is at the top of our efforts as we aim to merge urban cities across America with initiatives that preserve and protect communities and their precious resources for survival.
Less than 1% of the world's water is fresh, and prioritizing water security is top of the list. We aim to incorporate water reclamation systems into our urban farms and to lean on Micro-Cycling. Micro-Cycling supports water security for buildings, and small communities. Our garden units incorporate Micro-Cycling as part of our sustainability initiatives.
Reducing fossil fuels means renewable energy will take center stage to help reduce the carbon footprint. Making decisions such as buying an electric car, or composting, all have profound effects on humanity. Solar, Wind, and Water sources can supply necessary energy to communities or at least offer a supplement. Our garden units are designed to incorporate renewable energy components such as solar.
Sourcing construction materials for large initiatives requires a high level of understanding regarding material life cycles. Long-lasting life cycles with low maintenance materials that withstand constant endurance is key to the initiative. GrowTanics uses sustainable construction materials that are environment friendly and prove long lasting life cycles.
Technology relies on power, and lowering the calls and commands necessary to sustain power draws is essential. This lowers the AC draw while sustaining what commands are given in between each call. AC power and DC power each have their own strengths and need to be considered when forming the future of construction and communities. AC is designed to move across long distances, while DC power is efficient over short distances. This theory alone may prove for conversion and or sourcing for smaller communities. Choices of equipment in technology also prove a pairing for success.
Trucking and Transportation are the epicenter of how goods get delivered across America. Without the trucking industry our economy becomes stagnant because goods are not delivered for purchase by consumers. The hospitality industry specifically faces a looming transportation issue regarding sustainable initiatives to have food delivered in the future. Rising costs off fossil fuels is the largest contributor to the problem along with labor for the drivers. Solutions include urban farming and electric trucks with self driving technologies.
Modern urbanization incorporates sustainable buildings that are designed with life cycle and function in mind. Sustainable architects try to minimize environmental impact by properly choosing materials along with an energy efficient design.
Zoning in communities will soon have higher standards for utilities, design, and function of buildings. How a building functions from HVAC, to plumbing or electrical, are all at the forefront of green building initiatives. Our community gardens will be in green buildings that work for us in our efforts to lead the future of sustainability efforts.
